The Days of Awe
The Days of Awe often assert a special spiritual pull on our lives. Many who don’t necessarily belong to a synagogue find themselves in search of a prayer community that is open and welcoming.
Our High Holy Day services are crafted to address a complex spiritual reality. We are looking for prayer services that are equally introspective and inspiring. It is during this prayer time that we make ourselves mindful of the present, ask ourselves to consider how we have been in the past, and resolve to what we might become in the future. Heart and soul, mind and spirit we want, we seek, to be reconnected to a higher sense of holy purpose. We dare to be challenged to become better because of these Days of Awe. There will be no politics, no fundraising appeals, nor even pre-assigned seats. Our services are fully egalitarian. Women and men are ritually equal in all parts of the service, and everyone is welcome.
